We are growing ginger in our 2nd greenhouse – it was an experiment this year, but looks like it was a great success.
Have you seen fresh ginger before? It’s a beautiful tender pink color with a riot of flavor. Thrilled to share this crop with you – we will have this in our winter share (signups are coming soon!).
We had our last summer Friday Farm Dinner this past week. It was a magnificent night with great weather, food, music and friends of the farm. Thank you to all who have come and enjoyed one or more of the dinners this season. They are always a summer favorite around here! HarvestFest is October 6th

Powisset’s Harvestfest launches the fall season and provides a great day
of activity for families and friends! Enjoy live music, food, and
beverages, animals, demonstrations, a gorgeous farm stand, children’s
attractions, contests, a Vendor Village and activities for all ages. Click here for details.
Yoga on the Farm – Tuesdays!
6:45-7:45pm
Bring a mat, blanket or towel, and a water bottle. All levels and ages
13-99 welcome. Pre-registration requested but drop-ins welcome. Sign up

*Yoga now takes place inside the screened porch or the barn classroom due to the EEE recommendation from the town of Dover.
Children’s Open Barnyard
Bring the kids to visit our piglets, chickens, sheep, goats and bunnies at our fun barnyard! Learn about what our furry farm friends eat, how much they sleep, and what they do each day. The Open Barn yard occurs every Thursday (1-4pm) and Saturday (10am-2pm) through October 26.
Powisset Saturday Cafe
Stop by the Powisset Kitchen every Saturday, 10am-2pm to grab a snack and a beverage while exploring the farm or picking up your vegetables. A light selection of beverages, muffins, scones, cookies and quiche (with salad) will be available.
